Okay, for those of you who know, I've been sick for quite some time. I mean, I originally assumed that it was flu since St Mungo's had a case of the wizarding flu last month and since my symptoms were similar to that, I just assumed that I caught it. But close to a month later and the symptoms were quite prominent and I was nowhere near feeling better, but I was still under the assumption that it was just a bad case of the flu. That all changed when I had dinner with Dora and Ted last Thursday and everything seemed to be alright, but unfortunately I had a fainting spell that evening and that ruled out the possibility for influenza in my opinion.
The weekend went well and I took Monday off so that I wouldn't have a relapse of what happened on Thursday. Although me taking a day off is a rarity and I figured that I would be able to handle my shift today without any problems, but I was wrong. Midway through my shift I suffered another fainting spell and I was forced to take the afternoon off and to just rest at Mungo's until I felt well enough to go home. So, me being one who cannot tolerate boredom all that easily, told one of your Healers - one of my Interns actually - about the symptoms I had and what I thought it was; they ran a couple of a tests and my assumptions were confirmed.
Turns out that I'm pregnant. I actually kind of assumed that it wouldn't happen again since it had been so long from when I had Dora, but I was wrong. It had to have been a miracle or something.
Now, I'm going to get some rest; I'm quite sleepy right now and it's best to do this before the nausea kicks back in.

Seems as if I've neglected this journal for a couple of weeks, then again with all the work at St Mungo's - especially the flu outbreak and all - along with me somehow falling ill during the course of it could be to blame. But that's unlike me and anyways everything has seemed to calm down for a bit. Hopefully they just manage to stay that way. That and maybe if an ambassador of a foreign country comes again...well, I'll hold my tongue in regards to that.

You know, you two, it's crossed my mind - well, several times actually - that we haven't had a proper family dinner in awhile and I will personally admit that needs to be fixed. So, Dora, what do you say bout joining me and your father for dinner sometime in the future? I'd personally think that it'd be a great thing to do.

Okay, so, the German ambassador for the Wizarding World is stopping by Mungo's for a tour today and thankfully my ward's doing quite well. A plus if you ask me, probably because it would be a bit disappointing if we were in the midst of chaos and pandemonium when they arrived, although that's probably just me. Hopefully, everybody can just act professional until the tour is over. Or at least I can try to remain optimistic.
And also, let's try to refrain from the usage of Muggle medicinal techniques today. We wouldn't want to put the wrong thoughts into people's mind and they might be hasty to jump to conclusions.

I know I shouldn't worry about this. Really, I shouldn't, but it's just the thought that the Lestranges are out that they'll start going after Muggleborns - well, that's a given. But my mind keeps thinking that they'll go after Ted. It's to the point where I'm suffering bouts of insomnia because I can't fall asleep.
I just don't know what to do.
